Alpha Omega Technologies Ltd is committed to making AlphaOmega accessible, in line with the Equality Act 2010.
1. Using this service
This statement covers the AlphaOmega public website, the web app used by care offices and the AlphaOmega Carer mobile app. We want as many people as possible to be able to use them. Today:
- the public website’s text meets WCAG AA colour contrast, and its images have text alternatives;
- the public website works on screens as narrow as a phone without scrolling sideways;
- the web app has a light and a dark mode;
- the carer app follows your phone’s text size setting, up to 160% of the standard size.
2. How accessible this service is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.
The public website has been checked with automated testing (it scores 100 in Lighthouse’s accessibility audit) and by hand for colour contrast, text alternatives and narrow screens. It has not yet been tested with screen readers or keyboard-only use. The web app and carer app have not yet been audited, so they may have problems we don’t know about. Areas most likely to be difficult are:
- dense scheduling screens such as the rota and calendar;
- maps;
- generated PDF documents, such as MAR charts, payslips and invoices, which may not work well with screen readers.
We will update this statement as each part is audited and fixed.
3. Feedback and contact information
If you find a problem, or need information in a different format such as accessible PDF, large print or audio, email hello@alphaomegatech.co.uk. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device and assistive technology you use. We will reply within 5 working days.
If you use AlphaOmega through your employer or a care provider, you can also ask them, and they will pass it on to us.
4. If you are not happy with our response
If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
5. Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 16 October 2026. It is based on testing of the public website by the AlphaOmega team. The other parts of the service have not yet been tested against WCAG 2.2 AA.
